The Valley Loves Mazatrol!

John states that, "Mazak machines are easy-to-use and allow Valley Machining to turn around quality parts quickly."

Valley Machining was founded in 1995 after Precision Technologies, Inc. closed it’s doors. The three partners in Valley Machining had put in some 20+ years each at Precision Technologies. Once Bob Miller, Roger Stakey and John Dahlstrom had a chance to analyze their situation they recognized their strength together and decided to leverage their extensive experience and solid reputation. They created Valley Machining, a job shop cutting anything that comes in the door. However, the jobs have been leaning toward their special niche – exotic metals, such as titanium, waspaloy and udimet.

Valley Machining’s first CNC purchase was a Mazak M-4 Turning Center. Since then they have purchased four

more Mazak’s - a mixture of both milling and turning equipment. Why Mazak? According to John, "I have worked with other programming formats before, but I prefer Mazatrol programming." John likes to program on the shop floor, Mazatrol makes this easy for him. Second, set-up is greatly reduced compared to other systems. Third, troubleshooting is very easy.
