Two New Machines Featured at Mazak
Technology Days
At Mazak's 2008 Midwest Technology Days,
March 12-14, over 200 MSI guests got a chance to see Mazak's new Integrex
i-150 and Hyper Quadrex 150MSY up close and in person. Participants also
had a chance to see ten other machines under power, including live cutting
demos. Some of the highlighted machines at the event included:
-
Mazak's new Integrex i-150, a small
multi-tasking machine designed specifically to address problems found in
other machines of this type such as short axis strokes and restricted
machining areas with no machine interferences. The work handling
system can be indexed in 90 degree increments, allowing workpieces to be
completed in just one machine set-up.
-
Mazak's new Hyper Quadrex 150MSY (see
our feature story for details on this amazing machine).
-
Several Integrex e-series models, some
of industry's most advanced multi-tasking machines known for their
"done-in-one" performance where users can complete all operations —
turning, milling, boring, drilling, etc. — in one easy set-up.
-
Two Nexus Vertical Machining Centers
which feature more productivity-enhancing features than any other vertical
in their class making them an incredible value for large and small shops.
Packed with 30 tools, Mazak's VCNs can machine a variety of workpieces
without changing the tool set-up.
-
Nexus QTNs, which offer milling and
turning multi-tasking capability in a single set-up.
