Every year Industrial Distribution magazine does a survey of the largest industrial distributors in the United States, and then ranks them by total sales.  Their June 2005 issue ranked the top 50.  For the year 2004, Machinery Systems, with two locations, earned the 49^th spot with $77 million in sales and 57 employees.

To put our size in perspective, the largest industrial distributor in the United States reported 2004 sales of $6 billion with 926 locations and 15,800 employees.

Other than top 50 bragging rights, what does this mean?  Not much, but we thought you would be interested.
