Customer Training for Mazak Multi-Task Machining

MSI recognizes how important it is for you to minimize the learning curve associated with the implementation of your Multi-tasking machine tool or cell.  Challenges pertain to programming, tooling, workholding, processing, inspection, part flow and the culture adjustment for your personnel.

MSI can help you minimize your learning curve and maximize the productivity of your new Mazak Integrex, Super Quick Turn, or Multiplex, regardless of the specific challenge.  MSI’s Application Engineering (AE) Division has outstanding technical expertise, a wealth of experience, and we focus only on Mazak.  Our engineers are specialists in Multi-task machining.

Mazak Corporation does provide basic program training, start-up assistance, and ongoing telephone support (at no additional charge) for as long as a customer owns a Mazak.  However, you may be interested in even more support to significantly shorten your learning curve.  Accordingly, we have developed the following programs:

Basic Customer Assistance Program $3,000

  • Get up and running on a reliable and consistent basis.
  • 3 consecutive days of programming and operator training, as well as process trouble- shooting.
  • We will focus on developing the "champion" or "master machinist" to drive the success of your new Multi-tasking machine or cell after we leave.
  • Takes place either (1) immediately after Mazak programming class and Mazak standard installation or (2) a week or two after installation.

Process Optimization Program $4,500

  • Improve productivity on a single part family.
  • 5 consecutive days of assistance in part programming, cutting tool, and workholding optimization.
  • Our primary focus will be on part processing to drive the machine/cell throughput and your profitability.
  • Takes place after your personnel have spent adequate time learning basic operation and programming techniques.

We recommend that our Application Engineers review your prints.  Then, together we will decide which above program best suits your needs.

After completion of these programs MSI will provide a report with specific insight and recommendations.  Also, MSI will provide one follow-up visit at no charge one to three months after program completion to review and reinforce the progress of your people and/or project.

Ultimate Productivity Program $9,000

  • Includes the Process Optimization Program plus on-going support and additional process improvement.
  • Eleven days, when you have to move fast.
  • Focus will be on the quick implementation of a new project or product line into your machine/cell.
  • We recommend this program when you have a new customer project or product line and you need additional resources to implement it quickly.
  • Also, our engineers can work with you to develop customized programs to include turnkeys, and teamkeys.
