Machinery Systems Used has built an extensive library of machine tool manuals with a special focus on machine parameters.  We recognized early in our history that the older the machine, the harder it is to find the parameters.  It’s our goal to turn our inventory quickly and our library is a critical part of our inventory turn ratio.

“We started collecting used machine manuals and parameters in the early 1990s.  At that time, it was a stack on top of a desk, and maybe the use of a couple of file drawers.  As our library began to grow, we organized our information by machine brand and type,” explained Frank Stock, Senior Service Technician, for Machinery Systems Used.   Frank went on, “This library is critical to our ability to quickly turn our used machinery inventory. 

"Whenever possible we will tap into our extensive customer database to get parameters we do not have.  Some of the older machines we get in come without any parameters.  These machines are dead in the water without the parameters.  Our library saves us all the time.”

Frank also stated.   “We get calls from our customers all the time, and we are happy to help them with our library.  This is a great added value for them."
