Machinery Systems, Inc., a leading Midwest CNC machine tool distributor with a 30 year history of representing Mazak, the world’s largest machine tool builder, is seeking field service technicians to join our expanding business. Two positions are available. One for our Schaumburg, IL, headquarters office; the other for our Brookfield, WI, office. The field service technicians will travel to customer locations throughout
The Field Service Technician's primary responsibilities will be to troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical aspects of a wide range of Mazak standard machine tool products. As a secondary aspect of the position, the technician will provide installation and customer training on the proper usage of Mazak machine tools and Mazatrol programming.

Minimum of 3 years in a machine tool Field Service Technician or repair position with an end user, distributor or builder of CNC machine tools

Requires strong problem solving skills with excellent knowledge of both mechanical and electrical areas of repair of CNC machine tools.

Must be a self starter and be highly motivated

Must possess strong customer service orientation, be flexible to adjust to customer demands and have effective communication skills

Ability to read electrical schematics and knowledge of PLC’s is desirable

Mazatrol programming experience is a plus.

Must hold and maintain an unrestricted driver’s license
